User Data Deletion Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. How to delete your data
In the Bordr app: Settings → Account → Delete profile and all data.
This permanently deletes your Bordr account and the travel data stored with it. The action cannot be undone. You can also export your data from the app before deleting.
If you cannot open the app, email bordr.app@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will process the request within 30 days.
2. What we delete
When you delete your account we remove:
- Your Bordr account (Sign in with Apple or email)
- Cloud-synced travel data: stays, clocks, stay limits, currencies, passport choice, settings, widget order, flights, and related records on Bordr’s servers (Base44 / bordr.app)
- iCloud / CloudKit copies used for Apple sign-in sync, as far as the app can erase them
- Local data on the device where you confirm deletion
3. What we do not store
- Photos stay on your device. Bordr reads GPS/location metadata locally and does not upload photos.
- We do not use a social feed, contacts, camera, or App Tracking Transparency.
4. What we cannot delete for you
- Bordr Pro is billed by Apple through StoreKit. Deleting your Bordr account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Apple may keep Sign in with Apple and App Store purchase records under Apple’s policies.
- Analytics or crash logs held by Apple, if any, follow Apple’s retention rules.
- Backups on your own devices (iCloud device backup, computer backups) are controlled by you.
5. After deletion
You can keep using Bordr on the device without an account. Purchase and restore of Bordr Pro still work through your Apple ID. Creating a new Bordr account later starts empty; old cloud data is not restored.
